a) Describe the work of Richard Arkwright (4 marks)

b) Explain why the cotton industry grew in the North West of England (6 marks)

For the ‘Age of Peel’, we are currently learning about the voting system. What was wrong with it? How did the 1832 Reform Act change things? What was the Tories attitude to reform?

For the Cold War, you are studying the Cuban Missile Crisis. There is masses of material online, but the CNN site is especially good. www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/cold.war/episodes/10
